Lina Inga Stankaitytė is a performance artist, artist, actress, director and philologist, who combines contemporary theatre, community experience and a political perspective on everyday forms in her work, bringing them into public discourse.
Diana Sofija Kuzmickaitė is a creator of visual identity for performance, fashion designer, costume designer, stylist, curator of art and fashion projects.
This performance will talk about:
– gender stereotypes and social pressure,
– invisible women's work and emotional responsibility,
– the constantly changing status of a woman (girl, teenager, bride, wife, mother, grandmother) and the pressure to remain perfectly young, beautiful, how much aggression women use against themselves to meet unrealistic beauty standards, the pursuit of perfection, images,
– a woman's right to create, rest, choose.
